“ #MyFirstTime and I wasn't disappointed. Google recommended this awesomeness place. I called and Fruit yes correct her name is FRUIT, discuss the oxtail , salmon , chicken specials, because of how kind she was I drove the 16 minutes.( it was definitely worth the drive) The parking was great , since I tore my Acl they have excess which was easy to get into the restaurant. I was welcomed in as soon as the I opened the door. The flavors of yummy was all in the air and the options was an amazing. They showed me their blacken salmon it looked amazing but I saw the brown stew boneless chicken and I locked in on it. I asked for a spinach patty but saw the curry patty and never had and I was not disappointed. Then they make a few Fountain drinks and I tried their pineapple, sorrel , ginger drink. Let's just say it was surprise goodness. My brown stew boneless chicken was so yummy and flavorful. I had never tried the boneless before and was truly happy I did. Thanks to Google for recommending and Fruit for an amazing experience and suggestions of the menu ”
“ UPDATE: 1/13/25 - I have a friend from Trinidad who moved up here via Florida and wanted him to try the curried goat. He hasn't had it yet, but I had mine and it was awesome! Full of deep flavor and plenty of meat. I tipped my bowl to drink the very last drop of gravy. Mmmm (I'm diabetic so couldn't have the rice and peas or plantains, so I just had the stew). I be trimmin' dem bones wit my teet'. (That sounded Jamaican in my head anyway) Oh Mama! The depth of flavor in the oxtail and curried goat is amazing! Worth every penny. The rice and peas are the perfect medium for the gravy, and the cabbage offsets the rich fattiness. I traveled 1 hour and 45 minutes for this. Nice day trip. Final picture shows this little piggie went home with a big fat belly! When can I come again? ”
“ My order was placed over the phone and prepared in a timely fashion and ready for pickup when I got there. The staff was very courteous and greeted me with a smile. I was impressed with the unique set up in having the option to go inside or drive thru window. (I believe it used to be a Sonic). The atmosphere, customer service and the food was absolutely perfect. If your taste buds call for Caribbean I would highly recommend Ovations. I'm glad I was introduced to this restaurant and will definitely be ordering from them again. “ Been looking for a good Caribbean spot for a while and finally found one. Everyone was friendly and the food portions were very generous. We ordered the Jerk Ribs....yes you read that right. JERK RIBS!! They were absolutely delicious! Everything was on point. Never had authentic Caribbean cuisine before but this was the perfect experience for a first timer. Along with the ribs you get rice and peas with your choice of gravy, cabbage and plantains. We also ordered bread pudding and black cake. Everything was *chefs kiss*. ”
